Thursday after class one of my roommates and I tried to go to El Palacio Real (the Royal Palace of Madrid).  Unfortunately that night it was free for EU citizens and there was a huge line.  Since I was on a time constraint we decided instead to walk around in the nearby gardens and to the Plaza Mayor.  That night I went to a Flamenco show with a group from school, where unfortunately I didn't take any pictures.

I didn't feel like going to any of the sights on Friday, so one of my other roommates and I walked around for awhile looking in different shops and people watched for a couple of hours in Puerto del Sol.  The weather was quite a bit cooler so there were lots of people sitting around and enjoying the day.  That night we went to dinner in Plaza Mayor on Spanish time (11 pm).

There are constantly several Mickeys in Puerto del Sol.  This one decided to take his head off.
